Hi, my name is Stacey and I work using an integrative approach, as I believe we are all individuals and what may help one person may not help another.
I think that the therapeutic relationship is unlike no other and I am aware of how it can be scary and nerve-wracking seeking support. I can offer a safe space to listen to you, where you will feel heard, valued and understood.
I am a student member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and ensure I adhere to their ethical framework. I also have an enhanced DBS in place and seek monthly supervision with a trained supervisor, as well as having support from Horizon.
I have worked within the care sector for 14 years in various different roles and have had the pleasure of working with a range of people, from the elderly to complex health care and people with learning disabilities and additional needs.
I work in a way that puts you at the centre of the work, as I believe everyone has the right to be autonomous, and everyone will have their own solutions and answers that are right for them.
I am excited to start my placement here at Horizon and I look forward to meeting you soon.
