My name is Alison Stokes, and I am the receptionist and secretary for Horizon counselling services ltd.

I have worked in primary school settings with children who had special educational needs previously which was rewarding and challenging at the same time. This was something I enjoyed immensely and gave me a greater understanding of how different we all are at times.

Since leaving the school environments I have concentrated on raising a family and supporting my husband in his business. Now the family are all older I am returning to the company as its receptionist and company secretary to continue offering support to Alan and the other therapists at Horizon Counselling services ltd.

I enjoy being able to offer support and help within Horizon, and enjoy taking the clients initial bookings and phone calls and dealing with the non-therapy aspects of the business as it allows me to feel part of the great team that Horizon has become.

When you ring Horizon counselling services for information, advice or to book in, I will do my upmost to make you feel valued as a  person and help you with the booking process and answer any questions and requests for more information in the best way can, so you can feel at ease before your first visit to see one of our fantastic therapists.
