Hi, my name is Claire,

I have a BSc in Psychology and currently also work in a rehabilitation unit in the MOD for injured military personnel.

I have a BSc in Psychology and currently also work in a rehabilitation unit in the MOD for injured military personnel.

Every life obstacle a person can face can impact one person differently to the next. This is why I work from an Integrative Approach, being able to draw from different counselling theory and practice. I passionately believe in the importance of working with you as an individual and being able to provide a safe space for you to share with me.

In the model of counselling I use, I will be working with you to consider meaningful connections to the whole of self, considering Mind, Emotions, Body and Soul (this can have different meanings for different people). With an aim of together gaining insight into the paths that led you to become the person you are today and how you can use this awareness to challenge patterns of behaviour, relationship problems, anxiety, low mood, anger, depression or anything else that is becoming an obstacle to your life and well-being.

I am on placement as a counsellor at Horizon. I am a student member of The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and abide by their strict ethical framework and codes of practice.

I very much look forward to meeting with you and working together.
