Hi, my name is Maria.

I first discovered my passion for counselling whilst working in childcare and schools, where I supported students, staff, and families in their mental health and well-being. Seeing the positive impact I could make in people’s lives reinforced my desire to help others navigate their challenges.

Through my own personal experiences, I have faced difficulties that led me to seek counselling myself. That journey deepened my passion even further. I saw firsthand how reaching out for support, having a safe space and talking to someone I could trust helped me learn about myself and grow into a stronger more self-aware person.

I understand how daunting it can feel to take that first step into Counselling. My goal is to provide a warm, safe and non-judgmental space where you feel truly heard, supported and at ease. Together, we will work through your challenges, helping you gain clarity and confidence in yourself.

I have experience working with individuals ages 13+, supporting those facing anxiety, depression and life challenges. I also specialise in working with neurodivergent individuals, offering tailored support that meets your unique needs.

I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) ethical framework, which means that I adhere to professional standards, ensuring that my practice is safe, ethical, and client-focused.

If you would like to take that step, I’m here to walk alongside you on your journey.

I look forward to meeting you.
